Letting boats and other divers know where you are is in some areas, mandatory. Brush up your safety skills and learn how to use a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) and how to handle a Reel without getting entangled.

What will I do?
You will do 2 Open Water dives and learn how and when to correctly use a DSMB / SMB, about tides and currents, the different types of Surface Marker Buoys, types of reels, methods of Delayed SMB deployment, risks and hazards of SMB use and how to prepare the Delayed SMB for use.

Requirements: Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent
